ਡਾਲਰ ਮਹਿੰਗਾ ਹੋਣ  ਕਾਰਨ  ਆਮ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 50000 ਤੋਂ 150000 ਵੱਧ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚਣੇ  ਪੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।   ਇਸ ਤ੍ਰਾਹ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਮੰਗਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ।  ਪਰ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਲਈ  ਇਹ ਲਾਹੇ ਦਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।  

ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ‘ਚ ਦੇ ਸਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਮਜੂਦਾ  ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਰੀ ਦੇ 66 ਐਵੇਨਿਊ 126 ਸਟਰੀਟ ਸਥਿਤ ਟਮਾਨਾਵਿਸ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਣ ਗਏ ਮਹਿਕਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਠੀ (18) ਦੀ ਛੁਰਾ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਤਲ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ 17 ਸਾਲਾ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਨਸ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਾਰਜੈਂਟ ਟਿਮੋਥੀ ਪੀਅਰੋਟੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਘਟਨਾ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਣ ਵਿਚ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ’ਤੇ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੇ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਤੜਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਬ ਨਾ ਸਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਗਿਆ। ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਅਜੇ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਗੈਂਗਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੜਕਾਹਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਬ
